Vision
Biome came about as an attempt to share some of the beauty of this world. Glimpsing into our surrounds through the still image, and offering the same vision to others, allowing these moments to be brought into your life.
We hope to inspire wonder in those who see the work and encourage appreciation for all the big and little things that make up our shared biome.
The images seen within these pages have been captured over multiple years and multiple continents.
Biome Images operates on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation (Melbourne) and is manufactured on the stolen lands of the Yugambeh people of the Bundjalung Nation (Gold Coast). We would like to acknowledge all the Traditional Owners of this land and honour their continuing connection to land, waters, and community. We pay respects to elders past, present, and emerging.
It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
With the desire to support the protection of these lands 20%, of net profits will be donated to Seed Mob and Rainforest Rescue with other projects to be highlighted, and financially supported through limited print runs across the year.
Seed is the leading Indigenous youth-led climate collective in "Australia" who devote themselves to addressing climate change on multiple fronts. Progressing legislation's in protection of land from coal mining, and shale gas fracking projects; keeping land rights' laws in place and improved while educating and spreading the conversation about conservation.
